abrowse.jpg - this is what the original JP2 looks like in miniature. I found the liquid areas through zooming in and out of the large file using the IASViewer that I downloaded from the HiRise website.

Copy 3C1 - shows what resembles a pipeline from high above the terrain. Above the "pipe" there appears to be a creek or river. I will call it a river to avoid repetition. There are other "pipes" in other areas of this region, as you will see.

Copy 3C2 - There appears to be 1 or 2 pipes with what may be a "pond" or pool with a reflection of the white material above it.

Copy 3C3 - This is an interesting pie-shaped rock or boulder that seems to be split into quarters with one of the quarters dug out and another part is partially excavated. Look a lot closer and you might see strange faces/heads embedded in the rock material.

Copy 3C - On the left side of the white split rock is what appears to be a slightly wet, sandy soil. I wonder if it could be phyllosilicates (a compound that NASA is searching for on Mars).

On the right side of the rock is what appears to be a wet area full of a liquid, gel or an oily substance that flows under the sandy areas and reappears above ground elsewhere. According to scientists, H2O tends to evaporate into a gas in a CO2 atmosphere. So, this liquid might not be water, as we know it.

Copy 4 - I cannot figure out why this photo makes me think of chocolate fudge layer cake - : -)

Toward the left side of the photo, the fudge or sandy layer is much thicker than what is covering the ground material on the right side. I am uncertain as to what the contents of the ground material might be. It looks almost like a garbage dump. All that's needed are seagulls.

Copy 5 - I call this photo, "Blue Jay Way" because it resembles a giant Blue Jay drinking from a heart-shaped pond. How does this kind of whimsy happen on a SUPPOSEDLY barren and lifeless planet like Mars? And how does Martian geology so closely resemble earthly creatures? Hopefully, we will find the answer soon. There are other PSP photos in my other pages that have more whimsical geological formations that resemble animals.

Copy 5A - Here I have outlined the "Blue Jay" within a red rectangle for those who have a hard time seeing it. I am uncertain if there really is a liquid or oil in the "pond", but I believe that the dark colored area at the bottom is a part of the flow of liquid or oil coming from other areas of this region.

Copy 6 - Liquid or oil appears to be flowing from somewhere in the middle of this photo downward toward the bottom right side. The contents of the whitish areas are quite disturbing to me. I don't know if anyone else can see what I see, but it makes me think of mass graves of strange creatures. Who knows, I could be right. . .or wrong.

Copy 8 - This, I think, shows a slightly wet sandy area on the left, and the dark area seems to be a pool of liquid or oil. I have no idea what all those wispy, whitish objects are on the right. This is a place I would not want to be at, even inside a spacesuit.

Copy 9 - This appears to be a deep liquid or oil filled pond, OR, it might be a downward slope of sandy material. It is a part of the large 2-sectioned "pond" further down from the twin peaks. Many of the strange objects that resemble wisps of white cotton seem to have faces. Look very closely with a magnifier. I have a bit of a feeling of foreboding about that wispy white substance; it almost looks like some sort of FUNGUS to me that is growing on those objects. I do hope that some Earthly fungus did not hitch a ride on a previous Rover and contaminated this area of Mars. The technicians working on the early Rovers in those early years were not, unfortunately, maintaining the scrupulously clean conditions that are used in 2011.

Copy 10A - This photo shows the liquid or oil or gelatinous substance oozing, dripping and gushing out of the ground material above. The red lines indicate where some of the liquid is coming from. The 2 "PIPES" above seem to be for the purpose of holding back the liquid from the river above the pipes.

I was surprised that such big drops form out of the ground material in this region of Mars. There is a river above which is why this hillside is weeping liquid. It is easy to differentiate the wet from the dryer areas. The wet is darker, as on Earth.

Copy 10B - This is to the right of Copy 10A. It shows the right end of the "pipes" and more liquid falling. I don't know why the liquid appears gelatinous in this and other photos. It reminds me of pictures taken with very fast film in the old days, and how water drops appeared gelatinous. The pipes in this region do not seem to be natural to these areas. They do not blend in with the ground material or the sandy stuff. If you look above the pipes, you can see the "watermarks" or tide marks where the river meets the dry areas of the shore. The bottom of the river is dark with fallen debris. The pipes are doing a poor job of holding back the liquid, if that is the intent.

Copy 10D - I turned this photo about 90 degrees counter-clockwise to show the seeping through of the liquid or oil out of the material above it as the drops head downward. The pipes are on the left, partly embedded in the liquid.

Copy 12A - This photo shows what may be a pond full of the same liquid. The left side of it is the same as Copy 9. It also shows the surrounding area from a distance.

Copy 14A - Here is part of the region from a greater distance. The 2 pipes are outlined in red dots. This is such a fascinating, yet scary place. (For me, that is).

Copy 14B - I included this because on the left side of the photo, there appears (to me, that is), what could be a small village within a valley with rough terrain. It also looks like an artist has made 2 gigantic face paintings on the downward slope of a hillside. I am not going to outline what I see in red. Some will see it, but many probably will not. I am fully aware of the effects of light and shadow and have made allowances for that.
PLEASE NOTE!! I zoomed into this photo later on and discovered that I was wrong about a possible village. The faces that I saw morphed into indistinguishable natural objects the closer I zoomed in to what I thought were giant paintings or artwork. I feel a little sad about that, but it's alright. However, that does not mean that it is not there. It just means that from a certain distance above the ground, it can be seen. But the closer one gets to the target area from above, the less chance of recognizing the whole picture. That is similar to viewing crop circles in England from an airplane or satellite, and seeing it from a very low-flying balloon.

Copy 14C - This shows the area to the right of the pond. The liquid in the pond seems to be climbing a bit higher and may have exceeded the height of the pond's bank after the HiRise camera took this picture. I don't understand what geological processes have caused these various terrain in the JP2 file. I just find it so amazing, as I am sure others do also.

There seems to be a continuation of the flow of the liquid as it appears to be accumulating in pools o the right side of the photo and cascading downwards slightly, almost like a waterfall on the right front of the photo.

Copy 14E - Another view from above.

Copy 14K - This shows the left side of the 2 pipes embedded into the strange ground material, possibly to channel the liquid that is seeping out of the ground which is forming a river or a creek. Notice the glossy, gelatine-like mass just above the left end of the upper pipe.

Copy 14L1A - The blue dots show where some of the liquid is seeping from. I was going to add a duplicate of this photo, Copy 14L that doesn't have the blue dots, but I think that maybe some people may not recognize that there is liquid present here, so the blue dots will stay.

Copy 14N - This shows the wet and dry areas on and around the "twin peaks". The dry areas are lighter in color except for the reflections in the wet areas which are due to sunlight. The river runs between the peaks and the white area at the top of the photo.

Copy 14P - Closeup of the ravine between the "twin peaks". The ravine is filled with the liquid or oil which is not only coming through the ravine from the river, but the liquid is also seeping out of the peaks. The top of each peak is dry and rocky, while the sides are smooth and mostly wet. The bottom of the ravine is dark with debris that rolled downhill. I would love to know what the chemical makeup is of this liquid. Maybe someday NASA will send a Rover to this region of Mars to find out.

Copy 14R - In another area of the JP2, the red dots indicate 4 more pipes. I do not understand how the pipes came to be in this region of Mars, but I have seen at least one other pipe similar to these, but in another part of Mars in one of the photos taken by the Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) that was aboard the Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) prior to 2007. The MGS orbiter was lost and presumed to have crashed into Mars. The HiRise camera is superior to the MOC, in my opinion.

Copy 14Q1 - I could not complete this PSP without including this photo and the next one. It looks nightmarish to me.

Copy 14Q2 - This is to the right of the photo above this one. There is something in the far left in the photo that looks like some strange animal. A badger? A Tasmanian Devil? Wait!! I almost forgot, this is on Mars!!! But still, it IS interesting.

SEMI-TRANSPARENT HUMAN-LIKE LIFE FORMS IN A CRATER ON MARS

The following photos are from a previous page in this weblog. I had added colorized versions in order to clarify the human-like life forms in the photos and try to emphasize their appearances and to enable viewers of this blog to actually see them better. I removed the colorized photos several months ago to try to improve them. But, due to my inferior photo software, I seem to have been unable to make much of an improvement. So, I am presenting them again here, as they are.

The life forms are in a crater on Mars. I had downloaded the black & white JPEG2000 large file photos from www.hirise.lpl.arizona.edu in the year 2007 and published them and many others sometime around March 2008 here on my weblog. Using the IASViewer downloaded from the HiRise website, I was able to find these life forms, as well as many other interesting Martian artifacts, notably what appears to me to be artwork, such as face/head sculptures or carvings done by someone on Mars.

This is just a small part of the photo of the crater in which the life forms and others live. The original PSP only shows half of the whole crater (the left side). I have not seen the right side of it yet.

This layered material is apparently part of an upward sloped wall of a hillside within the large crater. There are several cave-like openings that may tunnel well into the interior. Three of the life forms can be easily seen in this photo. One of the openings appear to contain at least two "statuettes", possibly idols.

This is the black & white version of my original photo of the human-like life forms. There are four semi-transparent beings; two are in front of the cave-like opening in the left top third of the photo.

The male has "his" two arms outstretched towards his right. His right hand appears to be sticking out of a sleeve that is voluminous and hangs downwards. His two legs appear to have a pair of shoes on them and his "feet" appear to be pointing towards his left. He, and the female who is barely discernible but is directly behind him, are in a sitting position. It is hard to figure out if these two are sitting on a rock or ledge or are sitting in mid-air with no physical support. If they are not supported by anything, that could be due to the lesser amount of gravitational pull on Mars, as well as being of a lighter weight. The female appears to be wearing a type of crown on "her" head, while the male in front of her is wearing a very distinctive and unusual helmet on his head. It is definitely a helmet and nothing like I have ever seen before and it could very well be metallic.

In the bottom half of the middle of the photo, there are two female beings, also semi-transparent. The one below in a sitting position is in profile. She appears to be young and is wearing an elaborate headdress that is also semi-transparent. The headdress casts a shadow on the rock in front of and to the left of where she is sitting. A little above the headdress is another female wearing a headband. Below the headband her features show two eyes, nose and mouth which is open in a big smile, showing teeth. Her head casts a shadow on the layered rock wall to her left.

In the following photos that I have colorized, you may be able to discern each figure better than in the black & white. Also, please trace out the many sculptured heads/faces in the layered rock walls of this hillside "grotto".

NOTE: Due to the semi-transparent quality of their physical bodies and clothing, the carvings or sculptures that are on the layered rock walls can be seen behind these Martian beings almost as though looking through a hazy glass.

A group shot!!

I have outlined the face of the female above and the form of the female below her. The female above appears to be smiling at the other female with the headdress. I think it's safe to assume that they are conversing with each other. Behind them in the wall on the left side of the photo, there is what resembles a carving of an astronaut with helmet. An arm is sticking straight out and just above the arm there appears to be a carving of a snake that seems to be ready to strike at the astronaut. In the upper part of the photo there is a round object that some have misinterpreted as being a monster's head. It is really a part of the broken off arm of a stone idol within the grotto.

Closeup photos of the helmeted male and his female companion. They seem to be about to take flight.

The three photos above show a closeup of the cave-like structure which does NOT appear to be natural. Rather, it seems, to me, that it is artificial and may be housing for these gigantic humanoids.

These four photos above show the two females. Note the shadow cast by the headdress or cap that the female below is wearing.
The very intricate face/head carvings or sculptures on the layered rocky walls do not appear to be natural.

This giant appears to be trying to climb over the broken stone idol to visit with the "girls" down below in the "grotto". His face is surrounded by some type of head covering and he may be wearing something to keep him warm. . . .a parka, maybe? Apparently, all of the beings living in this crater are of gigantic proportions, probably due to the lesser amount of gravitational pull. He looks quite ghostly, but I don't think he and the others are ghosts.
Mars is so different from Earth, and yet, similar in many ways. But the life forms I have found on Mars prove to me that the conditions on the planet have molded them in certain ways so as to adapt to those very strange conditions that would kill us quickly without the proper life support equipment and protection. Life is created and evolves under some of the worst. . . .and some of the best of conditions. It all depends on where in the Universe(s) you were born and raised.

This area of the hillside where the humanoid life forms live (presumably) is a bit further down from where they are. On the left side of this cropped photo is a cave-like structure. Within the structure there are two heads/faces which I assume were sculpted and possibly represent the images of either two deities, or are memorials to two humanoid life forms who have died.

I was able to zoom into this photo a little bit more to bring the viewer closer to the sculptures (below).

The five photos above are the closest I could zoom into the area. Any closer and the pixels enlarge and the resolution starts to deteriorate even more. I thought this shade of blue would be nice to show off the faces and symbols carved on the rock wall. The male-like sculpture on the left side of the photo looks almost human, in my opinion. But the one on the right is less so. There seems to be some sort of hedgehog-like creature sitting in front of and towards the left side of the male sculpture. It looks like it has sharp quills standing on end and a pointy snout. Also, the sculpture on the right side seems to have something with many, many legs crawling onto the left side of "her" face. It is partially on her face and partially off. If this had been photographed by a camcorder aboard the MRO orbiter, we might have been able to see whether or not it was climbing up or down.
A good magnifier, as usual, is needed to see in more detail. Of course, it could all just be my imagination. But I don't think it is. You will have to decide for yourself as to what YOU see.

Mars Rovers "SPIRIT" & OPPORTUNITY Photos

SPIRIT AND OPPORTUNITY - Spirit landed at Gusev Crater on January 3, 2004 PST. Opportunity landed at Meridiani Planum on January 24, 2003 PST

NASA's twin robot geologists, the Mars Exploration Rovers, launched toward Mars on June 10 and July 7, 2003, in search of answers about the history of water on Mars. They landed on Mars January 3 and January 24 PST, 2004 (January 4 and January 25 UTC, 2004).
After the airbag-protected landing craft settled onto the surface and opened, the rovers rolled out to take panoramic images.

I acquired some of the following Mars Rover photos beginning in the early part of 2007 and have continued searching the newer ones as time constraints allow me. My preference is, of course, the PSP large file photos in JPEG2000 format from the HiRise camera aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), but I will post any good or great anomalies from all sources if and when they come to my attention.

It is similar to the Rover Spirit's photo #2P129469773EFF0327P2578L6M1.JPG from Sol 035 (whose website page is http://marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov/gallery/all/2/p/035/2P129469773EFF0327P2578L6M1.JPG) because of the circular porthole-like structure in both photos that is embedded in rock.
NOTE: The above photo taken by "Opportunity" on Sol 1475 was shown Sunday, 6 April 2008 on the TV program "SIXTY MINUTES" during the segment about Mars and the United States space program. The pearl-like round objects in the photo was the focal point regarding the possibility that these objects were created by a chemical reaction with liquid H20 on Mars. No mention was made about the porthole-like object in the photo.
The Spirit is on the other side of Mars, far away from Opportunity, and yet these 2 photos are very similar. At the time, Spirit was at Gusev Crater.
2P129469773EFF0327P2578L6M1.JPG (from SPIRIT) is the LEFT side of the "rock" that was photographed by the Panorama camera aboard Spirit. The RIGHT side of this "rock" is also very interesting and, in my opinion, the "rock" may be the home of very small beings. There are several filtered versions of this same rock with the porthole in the Spirit's Sol 035. In some of the photos of the right side of the rock, a glassy or crystalline material can be seen. In other filtered photos of that side, the glassy material has been either removed (broken off) or the filter(s) that were utilized have hidden the glassy material that was like a "bubble" over the rock. There are 6 pairs of photos of this rock taken by Spirit and are on Sol 035. There are several other photos of the same rock in Sol 036 but not as nice.

It shows the rock situated at the top of the photo and small pieces of material (probably from the rock) litters the foreground. It is the same rock as in Sol 035 but the creature in the porthole looks different due to the distance from the camera.

In the Rover Spirit's Sol 030 series, 38 out of 79 images show the Spirit's instrument tool arm extended in front and right up against the same rock in the images in Sol 035 and Sol 036 and the side of the rock in Sol 026. It is very evident that in each image of Sol 030 different filters are utilized to mask the crystalline appearing side of the rock, as well as the porthole at the front of it so as to eliminate any suggestion that there was a porthole or a crystalline-like bubble that covered a good portion of the rock.
In the first photo of Sol 030, 2P129025940EFF0327P2382L2M1.JPG, one can see that the crystalline-like material that is partially covering the rock is different than the ground material. One can also see that something has broken the glassy bubble that covered the rock as the hard rocky material is now showing, although the glassy bubble is cracked in many places, but still on. It is also evident that there are 'creatures' inside the rock, just below the crystalline material. The rock itself appears to be smaller than the Rover Spirit but not so small that the Rover could accidentally run over it.
One has to wonder what could possibly have motivated the NASA scientists to destroy the glassy covering on this rock, and thereby probably killing the creatures that lived inside. Perhaps they should have created a set of laws or Prime Directives to adhere to in the eventuality of coming across possible living Beings on Mars, no matter what type of residence the Beings are in OR THE SIZE OF THE BEINGS, in order to preserve life on another world, rather than allowing the Rover to move about like a bull in a china shop.

In this Mars Rover "Spirit's" photo of this "rock" you can see that the Spirit's tool and instrument arm is most likely working at breaking off and removing the glassy bubble covering that can still be seen partially covering the rock. This covering looks similar to cellophane wrap that is used to protect and preserve food and other things on Earth, except that the covering on this rock must be quite hard. It is easy to determine that the crystalline material of the "rock" is quite different than the ground material. There are outlines of 2 Beings within the rock who apparently have died or may have been killed by the Spirit's instruments.

There are also other methods to hide that which they don't want seen. What is occurring in this photo is obviously one of the practice runs since it occurred not very long after Spirit landed on Mars.

At this point, NASA scientists probably know which combination of filters or which single filter can best hide the true objects and living Beings on Mars photographs. Now, in this photo, the residence or resting place for the Beings looks just like almost any rock on Earth. Good work, NASA and JPL!! Congratulations on covering up one of the Truths about Mars.
There are other photos in between these three in Spirit's Sol 030, but I think these say it all.

The first photo I discussed at the beginning of this section is 2P129469773EFF0327P2578L6M1.JPG from Spirit's Sol 035. It was photographed after the Rover Spirit's tool and instrument arm had done its work on the glassy covering on the rock. It also appears that at least one of the tools on the Spirit's arm has cut open the little pie-shaped creature that is within the porthole-like round object on the rock. The creature has a face with 2 eyes, a possible nose and a mouth. It is apparently dead. It is hard to say whether or not the cutting open of the creature can be counted as murder of an alien since it is the Mars Rover that is the alien and not the creature who is on its home planet. It is most likely a case of accidental death since how could the Rover know that it was cutting into a living Being who was on its own planet. The Rover has to be held blameless.
But, at the same time, the scientists who guided the Rover's actions had to have seen the Being and should have stopped the killing at once before the Being could be hurt. Unfortunately, the creature appears to have died in the porthole. I consider it a very bad start for Mars exploration and a terrible shame and waste of a life.

A closeup of the pie-shaped creature in the "porthole" in the rock. The creature's 2 eyes, nose and downturned mouth is on the upper half of the pie-shape. If you look directly to the left of the creature (it's right side) you may be able to see what appears to be a partially hidden humanoid face. showing 1 eye, nose and a mouth. A magnifying glass is needed.
From what I see in many of these rocks, it is my own opinion that diminutive life has been created/evolved on Mars and is living within hollowed-out rocks and other forms of protective residences. I also tend to believe that there is not just one type or size of lifeform, but many of different sizes and types on Mars that may be intelligent. `To what degree of intelligence? Someday, we will have the answer to that question.

This is also from Spirit's Sol 035. It shows both sides of the "rock" with the porthole-like object that contains the remains of the pie-shaped creature. On the right side of the photo there appears to be 2 Beings who are somewhat humanoid in appearance, although quite small since they can fit into this rock. The rock is dwarfed by the Spirit Rover and it (the rock) may have been bounced upon by the rover when it landed on Mars, bouncing many times inside its protective balloon before it rolled to a stop.
This is merely conjecture on my part, but it is a possibility since the occupants of this "rock" appear to have died, either by the glassy covering being broken, which let their atmosphere dissipate, or the Spirit's balloon bounced upon it, causing trauma and death.

Scientists haven't yet discovered the objects' origin or purpose, but I think that they may be insect egg casings or waste matter produced by insects or a higher lifeform. They could also have been formed from a chemical reaction taking place.

I have framed the face/head in reddish-brown but you may want to compare it to the previous photo. I was drawn to this face mostly because it did not appear to have any other faces incorporated within the main face as there are in so many other faces/heads in the rocks on Mars. In my opinion, this is either a sculpture or an actual humanoid face/head because it is too perfect to be otherwise. One can only surmise at the size of the original rock that this 1 was a part of, and how deep into the original this face/head was embedded. The rock itself may not have come from this area.

#1 This photo, which was taken from the left side of the original JP2 PSP large file photo that I downloaded from the Hirise website, clearly illustrates the extent of the masking that is done to photos of Mars that have some kind of feature such as a city, village or live beings. . .anything that may provide proof that the planet Mars does have living creatures in many areas of its surface and subsurface. This type of masking and also smudging are apparently used throughout this JP2 PSP and many others, as well, to hide that proof.

MARTIAN "BOBBLES" & THEIR KIDS

This section is mainly for photos that were loaned to me by others and to which I might have made some improvements on each photo. After I return their improved photo to them I will delete the one(s) here since they are not mine to keep. There may be something in their photo that I have noticed and know that they did not see it also, and that is why I have to store it here in this section so that I can access it quickly and easily to send back to them after providing an arrow, circle or square as a reference point for them.
But as I discover good samples of Bobbles and their kids from the JP2 large files (beings on Mars with giant heads), I will permanently place my photos of the Bobbles in this section.

These 2 photos are the same, but I have circled in red the object in question. It appears to be either a small dust storm or something that is mimicing a hill. The problem is that it is almost transparent in spite of the gray color. Almost like looking through a brown or gray glass bottle. A white strip passes right underneath it and out the other side.
Whatever it is, there are several "Bobbles" behind it, looking on curiously.

I decided to draw a blue circle around this ground material because within the circle, there appears to be a human-like male profile. It is possibly a bit of artwork left there by someone. (or something?) Using my magnifier, I notice that there seems to be disturbances of the soil around the "face". That might be from the Rover's tracks. The ground must be quite hard since I don't detect the usual deep horizontal tracks left by the Rover if, indeed, the Rover Spirit drove on this ground material.

Many faces and symbols in this whitish material. A lot of it appears to be art work, perhaps done by "Bobbles" (beings with giant heads and tiny bodies that I am still searching for on higher elevations so that they can be seen better in the photos). Some things about these faces on Martian ground; so many of these faces meld with or into other faces. Some of them stand out and almost appear 3-dimensional rather than flat. There are all kinds of facial features with all kinds of facial expressions. It's as though all living beings that ever lived and died in the Universe are represented here on Mars. Mars is a strange planet, so similar to our Earth, and yet so differently fascinating and wonderful. . .even scary. Scary because it is the "unknown country" and we already know that to go there without preparation is to die. But there is something else. . . .a certain beauty, yes. . .and yet, an odd feeling comes over you that there is something evil there, as though we humans should stay away.
The faces change. . . .1 minute you are staring at 1 object/face, then you look away for a second, and when your gaze returns to that object, it's gone. It's still there, but when you look at it again, it's part of another face, or many faces. "Where can it be?", you wonder. "Where is it?" is a natural reaction. But there are so many faces that to limit oneself to only 1 or 2 is to miss out on so much more. But, be wary. . . .the faces may be alive.

There appears to be some type of lizard-like critter in front of "him". It is hard to say whether or not this whitish rock has fallen on this humanoid-like head or it is someone trying to climb out of the area below. There are some sand-dune worms crawling on that rock. Come to think of it, that lizard-like object may not be a lizard, it might be a hand. Try to find the "bear's head". It is part of the rock and is at the middle top of the photo. Hint: its nose is that little black triangle.

In the upper middle part there is a figure that resembles an Army officer, perhaps on a reconnaissance mission? However, right next to this figure, on its left there is also a demon-like figure. I do hope that they are just a trick of the light. There are also a lot of things to see in the rock in the foreground.

27 February 2008. . .So many of the photos from this JP2 PSP are fuzzy and not as clear as I would like them to be. But the faces in them are distinctive, so it would be terrible to not show them. Many of the faces are nightmarish and may tend to make one think that Mars is an evil place, full of evil creatures. Hellish, even. But I often wonder if it's because our sense of beauty and how we perceive it is due to what we know and what we are used to seeing on our own planet. What we find to be disgusting and/or scary just might be the norm elsewhere in the Universe.
Faces that we may consider as ugly in these photos may be beautiful to those who live on Mars. The one thing that I find to be the most disturbing is the incredible horror and agony in many of the faces on Mars. But again, what I perceive as horror and agony on Mars just might be peace and contentedness to the giant-headed beings (Bobbles) and possibly others who live on that planet.

The webpage this photo came from explains all the particulars about it. However, I have noticed that this photo has apparently been altered. . .stretched out horizontally and is not as it should be. I was appalled at how NASA managed to skew the scene so badly. They had stretched it sideways instead of publishing a normal photo of this whole area, where even a series of shots would have been good. It is a gross injustice, in my opinion, to take photos paid for by the American taxpayer and publish it on a government website, also paid for by the American taxpayer, and we can't even get a true and normal image of this area of Mars at this angle and distance in this photo. Then they publish the photo on their website (that belongs to the American taxpayer) and type things about it as though it were an accurate and perfect record of the hills in this area. How many other Mars photos have they done this kind of thing to or similar?

WHY DOES NASA DO THIS TO US??? WHY DO THEY ALLOW THEIR TAXPAYER PAID PERSONNEL TO TAMPER WITH THESE MARS PHOTOS?

WHAT GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE NATURAL SCENERY OF MARS IN THE PHOTOS ACQUIRED BY THE CAMERAS ABOARD THE MARS RECONNAISSANCE ORBITER and the MARS ROVERS?? THESE ARE NOT CARIBBEAN TRAVELOGUE SHOTS AND NASA SHOULD NOT TREAT THE MARS PHOTOS AS SUCH!!
Perhaps these "scientists" have seen the Bobbles (beings with giant heads) in the photo and didn't want the American public to notice them. But they are there, in the photo, no matter how hard NASA tries to hide them.

These photos partly show what MAY be the aftermath of some cataclysmic event where natural landforms were cleaved, causing a Martian city in this area to be mostly destroyed. A geologist might be able to explain it better than I can. There is a crystal tower in this photo and in many of the following photos. I am not certain whether this crystal tower is standing upright or has fallen down. It appears to be made of a glassy material which allows light to go through and objects to be seen through the walls, and is, in my opinion, one of the irrefutable proofs of civilized life on Mars.
In subsequent photos in this series I have detected curious Bobbles (living beings with giant heads and small bodies) and their young. And, of course, the ubiquitous "sand dune worms" who crawl out of the sand to go where one would least expect a sand worm to be. There also may be a giant snake or 2 in some of these photos. I've had to rotate many of the photos to set off the features as best as possible. I have searched for a civilization other than Bobbles. The evidence is there in many of my photos that they exist or did exist at one time in the past. The original JP2 PSP was much too light, so I had to use the Contrast, Lighting and edge Sharpening features of my editing software to some degree.

#1A03A I rotated the #1A03 to get this angle of the crystal tower. This particular photo has not been sharpened, or edited in any way from the original except to slightly darken it. It actually looks like it has fallen over from its original upright position. That must be why there appears to be a "sand dune worm" attached to near the top of the tower.
The glassy material that it is composed of must be remarkably strong that prevented the structure from breaking into pieces.

At the far right of this photo there is something that resembles a statue of an ancient Persian Caliph. It has eyes, even eyebrows, and a headdress or helmet at the top. It could also be part of a building, or a broken idol. Father Christmas? That might be stretching it a bit too far.
Judging by the "Crystal Tower", this may once have been a beautiful place.

I thought this was a spectacular shot after I turned the photo around to face the layered strip on the right side. (Actually Southerly). I believe it is in a possible subduction zone and it is carrying objects along with it as it curves and presses downward and under the surface on its way to the mantle. On Earth, I think the majority if not all of subduction zones are under the ocean. It is possible that all the objects in this area are headed for that subduction zone and will eventually wind up headed downwards.

The tall structure towards the bottom of this photo may be another crystal tower, but may have sustained more damage than the one in preceding photos in ths series. It appears to have been built on or near the slope of a hill. As with the other crystal tower I am uncertain if this one is laying on the ground or propped up somehow. Directly to the left of the tower there appears to be an elongated white vertical line that somewhat resembles a flagpole. I suppose it could also be an elevator shaft or something entirely different.
If the viewer chooses to use a hand-held magnifier and looks to the left of the photo in the area of the slightly curved object that resembles a race track, you should be able to see several Bobbles ("people" with giant heads) on the track. Of course, it's not really a race track. . . but they are standing or sitting on it. They have very strange looking faces and tiny bodies that can barely be seen. Mars is a planet of strange heads and faces that seem to have grown out of nothing. . . .or at least, out of the bare rocks, sand, cliffs, etc. This photo shows a FELINE-FACE which the arrow points to. However, it is partially covered on the left side by a layer of the layered strip found in other photos in this series, and on its right side a "sand dune worm" has crawled onto it; the worm's legs or feet covering the cat-face slightly. One of the odd things is that when one is viewing a face, then looks away for perhaps a second, the face looks different when looking at it again or it has melded with another face. Not so much with this cat-face, however. Probably because it is up close.

So I went in a bit closer and noticed what appears to be a statue of possibly a crystal-like material below a humanoid face. It has a rather large nose and a downturned mouth. The eyes are closed. There are sand-dune worms all around.
If you look directly to the right of the red arrow, you may see 2 other faces. The first one appears feminine and the second appears to be wearing a helmet. The second face slightly resembles the old "Kilroy Was Here" graffiti drawings that were spread across Europe by American G.I.s during World War 2.

I had to darken this photo and sharpen the lines a bit to show more details. I also had to turn the PSP around to the above rotation but it's quite unmistakeable that it's a good representation of a duck's head. There are many faces as usual, but the image of a duckling's face, beak and eye is amazing. There are drawings or carvings of Bobbles ("people" with giant heads and very small bodies) on the duck's head and other areas in the photo.

This actually belongs in the PSP_001374_1805_RED.JP2 section, but near the top of the crater rim that is within the crater in this photo is a disc shape with what looks like a black duck inside it. Since the photo above this one has what looks like a duckling's head, I thought this one needed to be in the same section. I have zoomed in much closer to this black duck and it certainly LOOKS like a duck. But this is so strange!! How is it possible to have ducks on Mars??
Maybe somebody can come up with the answer someday.

I deemed it necessary to add my cropped photo from the above PSP JP2 so that the viewer may compare this representation of TRUE sand dunes with false ones that many scientists are regarding as "sand dunes", and are obviously not sand dunes at all.

They may RESEMBLE sand dunes slightly, but compare the big differences between this photo and the one above of true sand dunes. The objects in this photo are alive and evidently capable of movement. Notice the appearance of horn-like appendages and the centipede-like "legs" that are perhaps meant to enable motility. Also, there are many of these critters who appear to have a segment attached to the main body. These are, perhaps, their offspring that are not quite ready to detach from the parent. All of them appear to have some sort of sand covering over their "skin" to protect them from a hostile environment and that, once that sand covering is shed, they no longer are protected. I believe that these photos in this section tell quite a bit about the life and death cycles of these critters.

Of course, there are bona fide sand dunes on Mars, such as the first photo in this section. However, many that are mistaken for sand dunes may be, in reality, animals that mimic sand dunes, but are living and possibly mobile. To the left of the skeletons is one that may yet be alive. (See photos #4, #5 and #6).

Perhaps they cover themselves with sand in order to stay moist?? There is a ravine further to the left of this photo.

#40 This cropped photo is borrowed from the above JP2 PSP large file photo and placed in this section to illustrate further that what many scientists call "sand dunes" are NOT made of sand. This photo was cropped from the West side of the original JP2 photo at the above approximate PSP map coordinates using the IASViewer and is outside of the crater.
As you should be able to see, there are several "sand dune critters" who have died and their bones are bleaching out in the open. Their "flesh" may also have been eaten by insects and/or spiders. These "sand dune critters" evidently bury themselves under the sand and then emerge with sand sticking to their bodies in order to move about. These are most likely consumers and digesters of sand just as Terran earthworms on Earth consume dirt and digest it. Therefore, this species on Mars may be just as valuable for their ability to produce essential elements back to the soil.
I think, at this time, that it is most appropriate to rename these critters as "Sand Dune Worms" as that is what I believe them to be.

At the bottom of this page, I have printed in red the part of this letter which describes the strangeness of the "Sand Dune Worms", although at the time, they were not aware of giant worms on Mars(and, in January 2008, many scientists still won't admit that these creatures exist on Mars). But it IS admitted that they cannot be dunes because of the sharpness of the crests or ridges, the symmetry of the slopes, and what they call erosion is what we now know are the hundreds or thousands of "legs" that provide mobility to these worms. I must admit that I was surprised when I read this article by Jeanna Bryner on the Space.com website, but only because I've known all along that the possible flow of water down the slope of an 'unnamed crater in the Centauri Montes region as described in the MSSS website may not have happened, as it was alluded to that it may have, by Dr. M. Malin of MSSS. In fact, that's why I became so involved in looking for Mars anomalies in the first place. I believe that one of the "bright deposits" that Dr. Alfred McEwen, a Planetary Geologist working at the University of Arizona, Tucson, was referring to is the one in the MOC2-1619 series of photos that I downloaded from MSSS. The day I looked at the MOC2 photos concerning the deposits, I happened to have my Windows magnifier set on 2 and when I looked at the magnified image of the whitish formation on the slope of the crater, I knew that it wasn't water that caused that formation or bright deposit. What I saw magnified was an elongated whitish formation that was really 2 figures that were climbing up the slope of the crater. One figure was higher than the other, similar to 2 people climbing up a steep hill or mountain where one is always the leader. After further magnification I saw that the one above showed several leg-like appendages coming out of its body. The face is showing a bit as it's partially turned and it has eyes and a mouth, but no evidence of a nose. The lower figure also appears insect-like with 2 eyes and a mouth in a grimace, looking upwards as though it has seen the now-lost Mars Global Surveyor. It appears to have wings. After I copied all the MOC2-1619 photos to my computer, I decided to make printouts. I magnified one of the series and then made a printout on photographic paper. I found that I had magnified it a bit too much and the pixels were showing, but at least it was a lot closer. So that the 2 figures would show up better, I colored the surrounding area all around the figures in red ink. I thought that it would make the figures stand out better. But today, as I looked at those photos again I remembered that giant insect in photo #17 that appears to be feeding on the humanoid's head in the ground on Mars. That's in the exhumed crater in Meridiani. I wonder if there is a relation between these giant insects and the one in #17. None of them have noses, just eyes and a mouth. What appears as a split in the main part of the white formation near the bottom of the crater is actually the long wing shapes.
Due to the shortcomings of the MOC2 camera aboard the MGS as far as clearer and closer shots I am not able to produce here the best possible photo of the 2 insect-like beings. But I feel it's important for people to see this anyway.

I felt it would be best to try to mask the background "noise" but the color somehow is more pink than my original red. The general outline of the 2 figures is alright, in spite of the enlarged pixels. The 2 figures are see-through but I don't think they are ghosts. The wings on the bottom figure can be seen slightly and may hang down further. The bottom figure's head begins where the top figure's "feet" ends. Notice the grimace on the face of the figure on the bottom. These may be related to the "insect" in the PSP photo #17 in the previous section. I am unable to improve the clarity.

At first I thought these may be aliens whose ship crash-landed at the bottom of this crater, but now I think they are indigenous to Mars. I'm certain that the original photo from which this was taken is the photo (or one of them) that Dr. Alfred McEwen and Dr. Christensen are talking about in the Space.com article.

Please keep an open mind and don't shut something out because it disagrees with your personal viewpoint. Note: I have never believed in ghosts before, even Earth-bound ones. But now after seeing what I've seen in these photos, I have a very uneasy feeling. Skeptics might say it's just my imagination going into overdrive and there's no such thing as ghosts. But, I'm not so sure anymore. Every culture on Earth has its own ghost tales and, of course, our Creator is the Great Spirit. I don't understand much of what I'm seeing in these photos, but the evidence is right there, kind of "in your face". I am only reporting on my own observations of these areas of Mars.
What I've discovered in these Mars photos makes me pause and take an accounting of my life and deeds. There are, perhaps, millions or billions of faces drawn into the rocks on Mars. Almost every area of the rocky ground and on the walls of cliffs and mountains are covered with faces. What disturbs me is that each face, be it human-like, humanoid, animal or monstrous faces, all have symbols put on each face, as though a curse had been placed on them. It's a scary thought, but each of these faces may be a soul of a being that lived, sinned and died and its soul was placed on these surfaces for later destruction and suffering.

And several other things have bothered me since I read the "Book of Enoch" this year. Enoch was the great-grandfather of Noah of the Ark and the seventh in a line from Adam and Eve. This book was excluded from the Christian Bible and tells about the "fallen angels" aka "The Watchers",who were banished from Heaven because of their relations with human women and begetting monsters. These monsters warred against mankind and each other and were destroyed. But what if they weren't all destroyed and were sent somewhere else?? I need to seriously think about all the possibilities in connection with these Mars PSP photos.
Many Jewish rabbis are skeptical of the Book of Genesis and consider it to be allegorical. But what if Genesis was stolen (or borrowed) from another religion, much more ancient? I suppose I must consider all of this as a great hypothesis, until I have more information.
Many people believe that the answer lies in the Mesopotamia region, Egypt, and the excavations of Mesoamerica in Mexico and Central America. They believe that there has been a connection, in the past, between the indigenous beings on Mars and the peoples of these areas on Earth. There is always a possibility that at one time there actually was this connection between our ancestors and alien astronauts. I have no proof of that, only conjecture and the photos I present on this website. Giant monsters, ghosts, giant worms, Martian animals. . .they're all here.
All of the photos are true representations of the originals and only the Contrast, Lighting and Sharpening of details have been used to bring out as many details as is possible.
I am certain that all of the JPEG2000 PSP large file photos show at least several giant headed beings with huge heads in each PSP photo. These living beings also have small bodies and long legs. There are many of the largest headed "people", but there are also smaller versions of themselves. One has to wonder how are they able to hold their heads aloft with such a small frame to provide support. Perhaps their heads do not weigh as much on Mars as they would on Earth. I am searching for more precise and clear photos of these giants with huge heads. I have seen them also in the JP2 "Bouncing Boulders", but not clearly enough because of all the smoke from the hot lava in that photo.

This photo was too blurry to be included originally. But today, 11/27/2007, I decided to include it in this section after all after attempting to sharpen the details as much as possible. It obviously didn't help as much as I had hoped it would. At about the middle of the photo there is a cutout in the white rock. Within that cutout there are 4 or 5 Bobbles standing out in front. In back of these Bobbles are about 3 or more humanoids standing up against the wall of the cutout. One has "his" back to the MRO camera and is looking out over the 'parapet', bent over slightly. The 3 humanoids appear to be wearing something resembling hazmat suits and helmets. Their faces are not showing like the Bobbles' and their heads are probably normal- sized in proportion to their bodies. This cutout in the rock could be a lookout point.
I do wish that this whole JP2 PSP could be shot all over again. . .without the blurriness. One must remember also that these and all the other photos were taken in the space of a fraction of a minute or so for each frame, and what took place in these areas of Mars before AND after these photos were taken will never be known to us. It would be nice if NASA and associates could use videos in the future on Mars to detect and record the higher life forms that live there. A handheld magnifying glass is essential for this photo.

#2A This is the same photo as #2 except that the humanoid figures are encircled in red. The humanoids, dressed in protective clothing and helmets are standing behind a group of "Bobbles". The 2 or 3 on the left (one is leaning over the back of the short wall with his back turned) appear to have helmets on similar to Haz-Mat helmets, while the others appear to have helmets similar to NASA astronaut's helmets. The 2 helmets to the right have dark visors. It also appears that at least 2 humanoids are SITTING on some type of chair built for more than 1 person. The legs are dangling, 1 set of legs toward the right and 1 set of legs toward the left. Hopefully, the University of Arizona HiRise people may be able to clarify this and all the other PSP photos. NOTE: 12/24/2007 I have discovered while viewing the more recent HiRise photos at their website that this PSP (and possibly others) has been resurrected from when it was originally displayed in the earlier part of 2007 and still retains the same PSP number as the first older one that is in the website. I now have in my possession the original on CD and the more recent one on DVD. I am in the process of viewing the more recent one to compare one with the other and will post my findings here. I will also acquire the Pixel, Data and Displays numbers for this photo.

Their ghostly bodies are slightly less clear and have a misty aura surrounding them. Just below these ghosts but not in this photo are the the white symbols on the wall of a cliff that is also shown in Copy 2 which is not included in this section because it's blurred. Notice also the symbols or writings on the cliff wall near the birds' heads. If you look at the full version of this PSP, move to adjacent areas and you will find many more ghosts hovering above the ground. It is easy enough to differentiate between the ghosts on Mars and the white rocky surface of the ground and on mountains. The ghosts are see-through and leave a trail of wispy material in long tendrils or contrails. Critters are better seen on higher elevations.

In front of this structure are beings with giant heads and varied looking faces. Their bodies are smaller and they have long legs. Some of them may be sitting and when they sit, they appear to have their heads sitting upright on the ground. Better closeup was impossible without pixels showing, so please use a good handheld magnifying glass. There are beings like these in other areas also.

I've been thinking about those huge plant-like objects that seem to be growing up from the ground. They're quite polific. I don't think they are sand dunes since there is little or no evidence of sand in between many of this type. They seem to have roots and, in some areas, they have young ones. If these are plants, I wonder what they feed on. If they are animals, I also wonder what their main source of nourishment would be. Notice the shape of the doorways to the "dwellings".

NOTE: Copies 11/A-11D are at high elevations and one can see the ghosts flying at this and all other elevations. Also to be seen but in other photos are giant headed beings with, it seems, not much of a body but with long legs. That their heads are huge is an understatement. It's best to use a magnifying glass to see them best from afar. Look closely in the front of caves, alcoves, slopes and veranda-like structures where they may congregate. In at least one photo there are large groups of them in a line as though at a lookout point. Some are grotesque and some are almost nice looking. The remind me of bobble-heads and so I've been referring to them lately as "bobbles". Is that racist?

He is standing on a slight incline with a giant head right behind him. He seems much too large to be human and he seems to be pointing something at someone or something. He has no apparent breathing apparatus, so he is definitely not human. This one is really interesting!! Try to find the giant frog on the left side of the photo. It seems to have one of the giant headed people whom I call "Bobbles" in its mouth. Either that or the frog is sitting on "him". Above the giant frog there is a ledge. On this ledge there is a big bench where there are several "Bobbles" sitting in a row. The first "Bobble" on the bench appears to be female and is holding an angry looking cat-like critter on "her" lap. Look carefully and you should be able to see some of their legs, especially the first Bobble's. If you look up in the 'gallery' above you should see several square shaped structures like doorways with right angles. Inside these structures are more Bobbles.

I see what appears, to me, as part of a female face (waypoint 4) over the face and head of a human-like male. The female face shows a closed eye with thick lashes and her eyebrows are knitted, as though in deep sorrow. The male type face below (waypoint 3) seems as in great shock and suffering with a realization of something terrible. He has a symbol on his right eye and another symbol on his mouth. These 2 faces are on the ground with other symbols in adjacent areas. I don't know the significance of this scene, but even though these are not living beings, I still feel a sense of sympathy, as though they were Romeo and Juliet.
I have noticed in this PSP and many other faces with symbols on them. I wonder about the significance of the symbols. They are repetitious, the same symbols occurring in too many areas to be accidental or caused by nature.
NOTE: After looking this photo over a few more times, I noticed an odd thing. The partial face of a female isn't what it seems. The reason why there is no mouth or nose is because the mouth is covering the top of the "male" face who looks so pained. I also noticed insect-like legs extended near the female lookalike. Its mouth seems to be eating the head of the male. The "half-face" of this "insect" has a long neck leading to the thorax and has, possibly, 6 to 8 legs. Below is a darker version and at a higher elevation.

This area must be in a higher elevation to see the dog so well. It seems to have a symbol on it. There are bird ghosts hovering above it, as though about to swoop down. But I thought, "what would a dog be doing on Mars?". Perhaps the dog had been abducted and taken to Mars as a pet, ran away and died? This is so weird!!

There is no sign of a platform as in the Cydonia face. His "eyes" are wide open. How does one explain these faces and all the others that are drawn or carved into the white rocky surface on cliffs and on the ground in so many areas of Mars? Human faces, grotesque faces, animal faces. How is this possible?? That "fallen angels" story is haunting me. I hope there is a reasonable explanation.

His legs and boots or shoes are evident. He has a large nose and, perhaps, a mustache. There is also a female ghost directly behind him, but she is just a tiny bit faded and wearing a crown or tiara. They are high over the white rocky surface that shows some symbols. I had to turn this scene about 1/4 in order to get a better view. I am not sure about the shadow far below and what is causing it. I wonder about that headress or helmet he is wearing.

It is not a clear photo but there is one of the critters with a giant head (Bobble) standing in an alcove at the front of this rock. Look for the face just above the dark area of its "clothing". I am trying to find more of these giant head "people".
It's hard to say, but there may be several others like "him" up on the slope behind him. He seems to be hiding in the rock's alcove. I saw another one of these quite clearly in a rocky, layered field but I failed to note the location and cannot find it now. It was definitely a live being with a huge head.

This critter looks male and is right above the same beast? from photo #22. "He" seems to be sitting down because his long mustache is down to the ground. Or maybe those 2 stems are his legs and feet. I hope everyone can see this. You may need a magnifying glass. I've been searching in higher elevations now so that I might find a Bobble that is much closer and clearer, perhaps on a high mesa or mountain top. It seems that they like to wear hats.

This appears to be high atop a mesa with what appears to be a foot path leading up to the top from below in the darker area that follows the roundness of the white rock. The cracks in the white rocky surface of the closer mesa are evident, while the less distinct surface of the ground far below is more blurred. It looks like a procession of humanoids and giant headed "Bobbles" coming up the path and rounding the turn. In the white rock near the bottom of this and the next photo are symbols. In this photo, if you divide the photo into fourths you should be able to see a demarcation line in the first fourth on the left. To the left of this line the clarity is better, but to the right of that line it's a bit more blurry so that the "humanoids" and "Bobbles" are not as clear. I have no proof as yet, but this may have been done deliberately so that the humanoids and bobbles are not too evident. It appears, to me, that several Bobbles on the left are using the cliff they are on as a lookout point. I used my handheld magnifying glass to ascertain all of this. There are intricate looking carvings on the light colored cliff wall where the tall humanoid is standing. This photo replaces a lighter one that was here before. That lighter one didn't show enough detail while this one has more contrast and is sharper.

The procession in the background reminds me of Sherpas traveling footpaths in the Himalayas.

This is one of my favorites. Some people like wolves, while I prefer lions. That looks like a ghost lion peering into the shadowy area. As with all other ghosts, he is see-through. A few other ghosts floating around. Note that some of the objects that some scientists call "sand dunes" are showing strange patterns. Shouldn't sand dunes be a uniform color, that of whichever color of sand is in the area? This mottling effect, to me, possibly indicates plant life. It's possible that they take in carbon dioxide and emit oxygen. Just a thought!! There appears to be some Bobbles in this photo. Some of them are see-through, so they may be ghost Bobbles. LOL. . .this is so incredible.

In my humble opinion, these carvings are Petroglyphs, as much as those created by humans on Earth. The fact that these and others are on Mars does not, I might add, diminish the fact that the "creators" or artists that created these petroglyphs have been busy at work in providing a HISTORY of their peoples. For humans to disregard or ignore what are shown in this and other photos of these areas of Mars would be a travesty. The way each piece of work abuts tightly to the next shows a great deal of intelligence and forethought. These carvings are slightly reminiscent of Mesoamerican/Olmec and/or ancient Egyptian art, in my opinion. I see humanoid faces as well as what I call "Bobbles", the giant headed people depicted here.

More petroglyphs carved on layered rock. There are a lot of carved faces, both Bobble and humanoid. There also are several Bobbles in this photo, including many sitting on benches in the bottom left of the photo. Magnifying glass is needed. In my opinion, it would be wise and prudent for America's universities to establish departments for the study of these "petroglyphs" seen in these and many other Mars photos. I think it is imperative to study their language and possibly, in the future, have a working knowledge to facilitate communications with these Martian beings. Diplomatic relations may be in order also. I do wish that Dr. Carl Sagan could be alive for the first contact.

It appears that these Bobbles that are standing on the ledge are writing or drawing on the rock wall. Graffiti artists??

There are many Bobbles looking down at this scene. There appears to be a stream of water coming out from under that white rocky area towards the rear of the photo. There also seems to be several Bobbles IN the water and enjoying it, IF that is, indeed, water. In the black area on the left side of the photo there seems to be a pool of water, judging by the waterline that appears on the white rocky wall on the left and the white "pebbles" in the water. It could also be a dark shadow. I like the idea of a stream of water in this photo.

I'm not quite sure of what to make of this photo. I saw something interesting while viewing the JP2 large file of this PSP and I turned the photo around to the above rotation and saw this. I see Bobbles but I also see a normal looking "young female" on the right side of the photo who seems to be walking to somewhere. She appears to have on a headband, a white blouse or shirt, dark jacket and long pants. She seems to be walking through a crowd of Bobbles. In the background are the white rocky surfaces with few petraglyphs on them, but there are symbols. On the left is a Bobble who resembles the shape of a cucumber. This whole scene appears so whimsical that it's hard to believe that this has taken place on the planet Mars. Scientists have been saying that basically, Mars is a dead planet in that the atmosphere contains little oxygen and nitrogen. Well, if that's the case, then these critters must have an entirely different system than us Earth dwellers and might even die if they were to be transported to Earth due to the oxygen and nitrogen-rich air. I wish somebody could offer me a good explanation of everything on Mars, and not the usual stuff.

The left side of this photo is pretty much the same as photo #20 except that #20 is more of a closeup. Somehow, while backtracking over areas in case I had missed something, I came back again to this humanoid ghost and his lady partner on the left. On the first pass I didn't even notice the ghost on the right side of this photo because I was concentrating on the 2 ghosts on the left side. But the second time, I was not as close and I saw that there was a 3rd ghost.

#35A Same pixels and rotation numbers as #35. This cropped photo is not very good. I think that part of the problem is that the HiRise website people have resurrected PSP_001374_1805_RED.JP2 from where it had been before in the Image Catalog (with the OLDER images at hirise.lpl.arizona.edu/) and someone has done something to that JP2 PSP to smooth out the lines. That must be why my cropped photo above is not as sharp as it should be, ordinarily. I cropped a part of #35 from the newer version to try to show more details on the 2 flying "ghosts". I also had to make an attempt at sharpening the details but I don't think I succeeded very well in this one. The HiRise people did nothing for this PSP as far as improving the fuzziness in other areas of the JP2 PSP. But I now am in possession of the newer version as well as the older one and am very disappointed with the newer one, which this cropped photo came from. But at least the viewer can see that these are some of the living beings that live? on the planet Mars. Right or wrong, it's my guess that if the HiRise people were to be asked why they resurrected this JP2 PSP, changed it a bit and then placed it amongst the more recent photos in the HiRise Image Catalog, they would deny doing any such thing. I just might inquire about it at some point. I might also replace THIS cropped photo of the 2 ghosts with one from the older version that I also have. If I do, I will label it as such.
NOTE the helmet which is being worn by the male "ghost". It is nothing like I have ever seen on Earth. The lady beside him appears to be wearing a crown. Strange to say, but the male ghost appears to have a dark mustache.

Then I went further to the right in the JP2 large file and discovered this stone idol with a snake-like head and a broken arm. The piece of the broken right arm is on its lap. Above the idol's snake's head is a ghostly face that seems quite gentle compared to the appearance of the idol. There are a number of ghosts in this photo, a few crowding the area of the head of the idol, but the most striking one appears to be a young female. She is dressed in white and is wearing a large, beautiful headdress on her head. She has a human looking and pretty face as though she was from Earth originally. She appears "to the manor born" but she may be conversing with some Bobbles and ghosts who are in front of her.

On the left side of this photo there appears to be some Bobbles stacked on top of each other, much like Totems in the northwest of the United States. That seems to be a normal occurrence with these Bobbles. I've seen many of the largest headed ones carrying their smaller, younger ones on their own head. I suppose these must be their children?

#37A Same Pixel numbers as the previous photos #35, #36 and #37, but as close as possible without the pixels becoming too evident. As you can see, this beautiful female humanoid is a ghost too. The viewer is able to see the background symbols drawn on the rocks through her body and her headdress. Strange to say, but her headdress reminds me a bit of the caps that the ladies in the Netherlands wore in the old days. And somehow, it also resembles the headdress supposedly worn by Cleopatra, if I'm not mistaken.

#37B Same Pixels as above. . . .Directly to the right of the very top of her headdress is another female humanoid ghost who is smiling broadly with her mouth open and teeth showing. She appears to be wearing a headband around her forehead which gives her the appearance of an American Indian princess. I tried to magnify her face much more, but the pixels were too large. Her face is not as clear as the lady in white, but it can be seen well enough.

This photo shows the scene much higher above the lady ghost in white. I had been wondering why the male and female ghosts on the bottom left of the photo appeared to be fleeing from something. He seems to be looking backwards at the big ghost coming over the rocks who appears to be frightfully angry. It's hard to tell if he sees the male and female ghost taking flight or is looking at the lady in white. Perhaps it is he whom the damaged idol represents, although he doesn't appear to be dressed in finery. The idol is carved out of the same layered rock from the mountain, but the doorway on the left may be made of another substance.
Note the black area in this scene behind the big ghost!! There are 2 or more beings who appear to be companions of the big ghost. It's strange, but the big ghost seems to be casting a shadow and the others behind him are also casting shadows. The one on the right is casting a shadow of "his" very prominent nose. Come to think of it, the ghost lady in white is also casting a shadow of her headdress and body. That is very unusual, I think. Perhaps these "ghosts" are not entirely the way we humans perceive ghosts to be. It may be that what we would consider ghosts on Mars happens to be their natural state due to many circumstances and conditions on the planet. But they do have the ability to fly.

I cropped this photo a bit further away so that as many of the ghosts could be seen as possible and what may be a source of water and the pool or pond is in the foreground. Symbols on the layered rock walls. LOL. . .these photos could be a geologist/archeologist/spiritualist's dream come true. In my opinion, these photos show the temple of a god. The layered rock is part of a mountain, perhaps. Note the 2 openings in the rock, one above where the 2 ghosts are flying past and one below by the water's edge which appears that water is flowing from the opening. If these ghosts appear to be human or humanoid, then there may be others like them but who are still living.

Beyond the top of this photo, the mountain that these "ghosts" are on continues upward and slopes gradually backward, then levels off for a bit. It then rises upward once more toward the edge of the JP2 photo where it is cut off. The area where the ghosts are is within a deep alcove in the mountain of layered rock and is obviously a temple for a deity.

#41 Pixel: 23387,17946 Data: 117 Display: 86 This photo shows more faces. There are faces WITHIN faces, and faces on top of other faces as well as side by side. These appear to be carved into the rock and some are a bit intricate, in my opinion. I can see at least 1 Bobble who is seated on top of a face carving with his legs dangling. His nose is large and prominent. He is sitting on top of the fourth face carving from the right, at the bottom of this photo. This area is on the side of a cliff or mountain.
I haven't really seen any evidence that would prove that it is the Bobbles who are actually doing the carving or drawing of these faces and also the symbols. But they do seem to be around these carvings in too many instances.
But, whomever it is or was that carved these faces into the rocks on Mars, they had to have the intelligence and skills to do these things, and also the ability to access so many of these difficult to get to places. I tend to believe that there may be others who are capable of displaying these skills, both mental and physical. I suppose that we have yet to find them, unless they are the "ghosts" whom we see in other photos.

NOTE: I haven't confirmed it yet, but I believe that NASA and associates know about these critters shown in these and other photos, or at least some of them. They may only pretend to be interested in just Martian microbes and not very much in higher Martian life forms. I had wondered why we have to wait until around 2038 A.D. before the first humans go out to Mars and back to Earth. Why will it take some 30- some odd years for this to happen? Is it because the technology isn't sufficient yet to make such a journey and to sustain the astronauts for the number of years it will take? Or maybe the powers-that-be are worried that the well publicized asteroid that may collide with Earth in 2038 and may kill many or all living things necessitates a new Noah's Ark to ferry the best and brightest and the animals 2 by 2 to Mars? In that case, it would be a matter of preserving the human race, wildlife, seeds and seedlings and whatever else is needed to maintain life on another planet.
As I will be a very old lady by that time, I suppose it shouldn't concern me, except for the fact that my children, my grandchildren and their children will be around and I will be concerned about their lives and futures and their generations.
I need a great deal of reassurance and every living being on Earth should have that need also. What are the people in charge doing to preserve our futures and the futures of our loved ones??
Another thing is: is Mars a friendly planet or a deadly planet? I have many theories that I will keep to myself for the time being.
As I find more and more good anomalies, I will add to this website. I am proud of the little I have accomplished here and I thank NASA and associates and the U.S. government for making it all possible. But I don't like to be lied to and I don't like it when they alter the photos from Mars. Are they trying to hide some things from the American public and the world? I think it's clearly an omission of the truth and, as an American citizen and taxpayer, I resent being lied to, no matter what the reason or the method. The U.S. governmental agencies involved must be more forthcoming with the truth about Mars and stop dawdling. We CAN handle it. If they refuse, then shame on them.

Remarks: The first thing I noticed was the squarish blocks in this area and some of the areas adjacent. But when I magnified it to this level I saw that there is a large grouping of blocks that, to me, resembles an airplane, circa World War II era. There is the representation of an open cockpit, the nosecone, the tail, etc.
It actually looks more like a child's rendition of an airplane body. I thought that maybe this occurred naturally, until I noticed the representations of a fish and some "writings" or "symbols". Those are seen a bit better in the second photo.

There appears to be quite a bit of lava under the surface in this JP2 version. This photo above depicts what may be lava welling up from underground and forming a white hot pool in the foreground. There seems to be several Bobbles observing the scene.

#4 Pixel: 21079,32390 Data: 684 Display: 143 I made this photo and the next 2 darker so that the many humanoid faces in the ground and the cauldron or bowl-shaped object that seems to be full of white hot lava would be more prominent. There appears to be smoke rising from the "cauldron" and moving towards the East in this photo. This area must be elevated because the faces are very clear.

Remarks: This mound appears to have a humanoid "masculine" profile which is slightly darker in color than the rest of the whitish material of the mound. It's clearly intended (by whom??) to show only half of a face as a profile because the other half of the mound shows no sign of later ejecta that would have ruined the effect.

Remarks: This is from within a small, bowl-like depression that lies on the left side near the darkish channel that runs north-south in the bottom half of the original JP2 version. I passed over this area several times before I noticed the face of a lioness on the wall towards the right side of the JP2 version. Then I used a magnifying glass to examine the black area to the right of the lioness' head and I was greatly surprised. IMHO, the dark area is the clothing of what looks like a humanoid female, face uplifted and arms up in the air as though in supplication (is that the correct word?) and prayer. Either that or she has one hand bound to a ring that appears to have been driven into the wall and she might be held by shackles. It also looks like there is the large head of an idol of some sort behind "her". There also seems to be a humanoid "male" to her left dressed in a long light-colored coat with possible dark fur lining around the neck and down the front of the coat. He is wearing a turban. Hmm, on second thought, the male humanoid may be reaching up to touch the ring. I always wondered where those UFO abductees were taken. :)
OK, this might be an optical illusion on my part. I cannot get a clearer photo. It would be up to NASA, MSSS and U. of Arizona to take that photo over again. Maybe somebody can tell me what this scene is all about??

There MAY be a third humanoid in this photo who is next to another statue to the right of the 2 figures on the left in this photo. With a magnifying glass I can see that the wall is ornately carved with faces and symbols, as in so many other closeup photos of Mars.

Remarks: I had to rotate this photo so that the bear's head would be recognizable as such. This mound of whitish material from this angle appears to have the head of a sleeping bear-like animal. The one eye showing is closed, but what is really astonishing to me is what resembles a furry bear or dog's muzzle with a dark colored nose is sticking up and out of the whitish material of the mound. It also appears that there are thread-like worms crawling onto the mound and attacking the "bear". I could be wrong but I think those "worms" are hatching from all those little round things that look like glowing peas. They are everywhere. There must be a good explanation for that hairy-looking muzzle. "Curiouser and curiouser".

Please view each photo thoroughly BEFORE you read my remarks. Your opinion may be the same as mine, or might not be. Every person has a different perception and a different level of understanding. You may post a comment on this website or email me. Thanks.

I will be providing the Location coordinates to each Mars photo with the PSP number, i.e., Pixel, Data and Display. . .and Rotation coordinates, if photo had to be turned. When viewing a full version JP2 photo from HiRISE with your IASViewer, keep in mind that each time your cursor settles on any area of the photo while viewing it with the IASViewer (downloadable from HiRISE), the location numbers show up on the left hand side of the Viewer. Move the cursor even just a tiny bit and the numbers change. The Pixel numbers will bring you to the exact location and then you will have to zoom in or zoom out from that spot to get the same distance as the photos provided here. Of course, you can move all around that area and into other areas. The Pixel numbers here are only for reference and you can have a bit more or less of the same numbers and still be in the same general area. The Pixel numbers in front of the comma are used for left and right movement, while the numbers after the comma are for up and down. If you choose the Geo-Jump feature, delete the numbers in the X and Y boxes, then type the first set of Pixel numbers into the X box, then the second set of numbers that come after the comma into the Y box, then click on GO. It will take you to a large plus sign in a photo. Click on the Zoom In button in the Viewer tool bar and then click on the plus sign until you get down to the area you are looking for. To get rid of the big plus sign, go further to the right or left to another area, copy the Pixel numbers to the X and Y boxes after deleting the old numbers, then click GO. The plus sign will be located in the area you are not interested in and then you can slide back to the area you originally wanted and the plus sign is no longer there. This method is particularly good when you want to Save or Save As the photo you like, otherwise, the plus sign will show up in the photo in your My Documents or My Pictures.
I hope all the strange Mars anomalies in these photos show up nice and clear on these pages, and you the viewer will enjoy my offerings. I study the JP2 versions very intensely but without bias. In other words, even if there were no critters on Mars at all, it would still be a very interesting planet. I wasn't looking for Martian critters before, but the evidence is there and people all over should be made aware that they exist, IMHO.
Please tell everyone you know about these photos and where they came from originally (HiRISE, NASA, JPL). The more people know about this, the better chance we'll have of getting NASA and subsidiaries to pay attention to what they should have been doing all along, mainly to listen to the fact that Mars is not a dead planet, biologically. Nature is positive.

Remarks: Strange looking critter with 2 eyes; no evidence of a nose; walrus-like wrinkles; possible mouthful of grit. It appears to have popped up from a hole in the ground. Is this a Martian gopher or prairie dog? To the right in this photo there is another hole in which there is something that has the same type of textured skin. Possibly another one of these critters.
Question: Is this ground on Mars solid, semi-liquid or mostly liquid? In many areas of the complete JP2 version, the ground appears quite wet, but dry in others.

Remarks: This appears to be another critter coming up out of a different hole in the ground. Somehow, it doesn't look exactly the same as the one in the first photo. It's more fish-like than mammal, in my estimation. It may be a different species altogether but lives side by side with others. I am unable to draw any conclusions, not ever having been on Mars, but there does seem to be an analogy with Earth critters.

It might be feeding on something. If the subsurface or ground is actually floating on a liquidy substance, then perhaps the whole ground is moveable and can shift when disturbed.

Remarks: This is the closest I could get in this photo with my IASViewer without enlarging pixels. I had been looking for Copy 9 which is close to the north/south channel just like this photo. I almost bypassed this scene, but then I saw what looked like the head of a stone idol sticking out of the rock. It certainly resembled a statue with eyes, large nose and wearing a hat or turban on its head. But as I kept looking at it, I realized that it's not an idol at all and what appeared to be a "turban" is actually the mouth of a critter that has its mouth wrapped around what looks like a young woman's head, whose face is showing. The "face" and "young woman" may just be an optical illusion. Going backwards from the critter's mouth, I thought it resembled somewhat the critter in the Copy 6 photo but after checking Copy 6, I know it's something different. It has giant saw-toothed plates on its back, almost like that of a Stegosaurus. The mouth is wide open with 2 long teeth protruding from its lower jaw. The skin appears somewhat like a crocodile's. Below this scene is a part of the north-south channel. I will attempt to improve the resolution of this photo, if I can.

Hello to everyone and a heartfelt welcome to my website. . .

I copied these photos from the original, designated PSP_001916_2220.RED.JP2 "KNOBS AND MOUNDS ON THE NORTHERN PLAINS", from the HiRISE.LPL.ARIZONA.EDU website (courtesy of NASA, JPL and University of Arizona) sometime around May 2007. The original is in the JPEG2000 format and I also have that on CD, as well as many other PSP photos. All of the cropped photos in this webpage were created by me. If copying these photos, please give credit to me and my webpage URL. Thanks.

I use IASViewer, downloaded through the HiRISE website. I've only used the Contrast or Sharpen features on my HP or Adobe photo software that came with my computer to enhance the details a bit because many of the original JPEG2000 photos from HiRISE are sometimes too bright and lack enough contrast to see details more clearly. (I can't afford the expensive Adobe PhotoShop or Elements.) I do suspect that certain photos of Mars have been filterized and altered by one or two government employees (NASA? JPL? U of A?), possibly to prevent or diminish details being noticed that may indicate intelligent life or past life on Mars. I didn't have the foggiest notion as to why they would need to do this, but God and governments do work in strange ways. I now suspect that governments will probably never acknowledge that there is intelligent life on a nearby planet, because that may give credibility to all the sightings of extraterrestrial interplanetary or intergalactic spaceships (UFOs) and the intelligent life guiding them. NASA personnel and some others seem only interested in finding microbial life on Mars in deep underground caverns with some H2O availability. They don't appear to be all that interested in anything bigger than a germ and when confronted with possible evidence of alternative life forms, they act like it's up to the presenter to prove it. How do you prove anything when all we are going by are photos sent back from Mars?
One of the things that I find irritating about the HiRISE folks is their exclusive online pursuit of student and teacher input with much less regard for what lay people like me and other scientists have to offer. They have no program at all that I've heard of or established a department in NASA for Martian anomalies. But if they ever did, would they publish their findings in the popular media??
Now the HiRISE folks are putting up colorized JP2 photos on their website. Don't they realize that colorizing which isn't naturally occurring may cause a lot of anomalous details to go unnoticed?

I was greatly interested in this group of whitish, roundish blobs that are in the lower left corner of the designated PSP photo (see second photo) because, even from a distance, one can see that there are pictures IMPRINTED into the blobs of white material.

NOTE: It's also interesting that this PSP photo, in its entirety, is located due WEST of the Cydonia region where the original "Face on Mars" is located, according to the Map of Mars in the HiRISE website. I found this out quite by accident through clicking on all the dots on the Mars map to see if I already had those JP2's.

On one mound (in the first photo) there appears to be a face of a humanoid. There is only one eye showing, a bulbous nose, and an excessively downturned mouth. I would have deemed this face as accidental and caused by nature had it not been for the nostrils. There is one nostril on each side of the nose, indicating to me that there was a complete face at one time. And certainly, there is a slight indication of another eye on the malformed side. I would suggest that whatever whitish material that came up from the ground to form these mounds, this material again spurted up on the face's right side and covered over that side of the original face. The ground in between the mounds is of a darker material, so lucky for us, the mounds stand out.

In the second photo here, there is a nice grouping of these whitish mounds. Many of the mounds are imprinted with interesting and curious things. (I wonder if there were more mounds beyond the edges of the original photo and I would love to see what's on the other side of the left and right edges.)

PSP_001916_2220copy3fromJP2.jpgIn the third photo, which is also located in PSP_001916_2220.RED.JP2 from HiRISE.LPL.ARIZONA.EDU , this photo is from a small cup-shaped mound in the lower left-hand side of the original. You can see it in the second photo above, adjacent to the animal- skull-like mound. I actually freaked out when I saw this scene. First I saw the lion's face and I thought that it was a fairly accurate presentation until I remembered this is on Mars. Then I noticed that there is what appears to be a naked humanoid in a sitting position near the lion's head. The face is ancient and grizzled with a possible beard and looking a bit towards its left. There are what look like lightning bolts behind "his" head and a 'hand' appears to be on his waist or hip. This is a bit scary for me. I can't imagine what this represents but it's probably not very good!!
In the foreground there appears to be his right "foot" that has an impact hole in it. I also see a "goat's head" to his right at a level with his own head, but I'm not sure where the goat's body is.

I had made a printout of this scene some months ago from the JP2, so I scanned the printout after I remembered I have it, and put it on here. You can see a larger version by clicking on the photo.

I think it brings out the imprint of the lion's face much better, though I suppose it could use more shading or contrast. I increased the shading on this photo, but it may not be adequate. That's 2 lion's faces I've seen so far in the JP2 version of PSP_001916_2220.RED.JP2
I need a lot of answers to my questions about Mars and everything about it that shows up in the anomalous photos I and so many other people have. NASA needs to be forthcoming and honest or we will have to cut off their funding. LOL

#16A The details of the lion's face may be clearer, but other faces are apparent now in this photo. Perhaps the lion is a ghost and not merely a carving on the wall.

Note: In my opinion, it is best to download the JP2 version onto a CD and then use a bit of Contrast feature for bringing out details, rather than merely viewing the photos on the HiRISE Mars map because the onsite IASViewer doesn't offer enough Zooming in and doesn't offer any Contrast at all that I could see.
Also, when using your downloaded IASViewer, take advantage of the Auto DRA button for Contrast, if you need it, and on the left side of the Viewer window, when you get to an area and zoom distance that you want to return to, make note of the PIXEL numbers, Display numbers and Data numbers so that you can go back to that same spot later on.
